Read More…2018 wasn’t a great reading year for me, it’s not that the books that I read weren’t great I just didn’t read as many books as I would have liked, I didn’t even average one a week which disappointed me, I guess I’ve just been crazy busy with a new job and things, hopefully things will settle down in 2019 and I’ll be able to read some more.
I’ve gone through my Read In 2018 Goodreads shelf and these are my six favourite books of the year.

Read More…Good evening! I’m pretty late today with this Top Ten Tuesday post but I hope you’ll enjoy it anyway! Today’s theme is Winter 2018 TBR I’ve recently posted My Post-Christmas TBR where I talked about a few of the books I currently have sitting on my shelf that I’d like to read in that weird week between Christmas and the end of the year. So today I’m doing something a little bit different based on the dates of the astronomical winter here in the Northern hemisphere. This puts winter between the Winter Solstice on December 21st and the Spring Equinox on March 20th 2019. My Winter 2018/19 TBR below features 10 books that are due for release during this period that I’d actually quite like to get around to reading pretty quickly – Of course I say this about all the books I buy so there’s no guarantee I’ll have got to them before 2019 ends!
