It’s time to move another letter down the alphabet for The ABC Book Challenge!
Every couple of weeks I’ll be sharing at least one memorable book with a title beginning with the letter of the week, and one (or more) books currently on my TBR.
I’ll be ignoring any As etc at the beginning of titles

The ABC Book Challenge – X, Y, and Z
A Memorable Book…

Zodiac by Robert Graysmith
About the book
A sexual sadist, the Zodiac’s pleasure was torture and murder. He taunted the authorities with mocking notes telling where he would strike next. The official tally of his victims was six. He claimed 37 dead. He was never caught. This book tells the inside story of the hunt for the hooded killer, and finally reveals his possible true identity.
Despite being a huge crime fiction reader I haven’t actually read that much true crime, although I have recently started listening to a few podcasts. I read this many years ago now while I was in the midst on my Psychology degree and found it really interesting. I watched the film based on this book too, it was fascinating.
A Book On My TBR…

You Should See Me In A Crown by Leah Johnson
About the book
Liz Lighty has always believed she’s too black, too poor, too awkward to shine in her small, rich, prom-obsessed midwestern town. But it’s okay — Liz has a plan that will get her out of Campbell, Indiana, forever: attend the uber-elite Pennington College, play in their world-famous orchestra, and become a doctor.
But when the financial aid she was counting on unexpectedly falls through, Liz’s plans come crashing down . . . until she’s reminded of her school’s scholarship for prom king and queen. There’s nothing Liz wants to do less than endure a gauntlet of social media trolls, catty competitors, and humiliating public events, but despite her devastating fear of the spotlight she’s willing to do whatever it takes to get to Pennington.
The only thing that makes it halfway bearable is the new girl in school, Mack. She’s smart, funny, and just as much of an outsider as Liz. But Mack is also in the running for queen. Will falling for the competition keep Liz from her dreams . . . or make them come true?
I have had this sitting on my shelf since release day, I adore the cover and I really need to get to it! Leah’s got a new book due out in 2021 so I’ll give myself a deadline to read this before release date!

You Owe Me A Murder by Eileen Cook
About the book
Seventeen-year-old Kim gets more than she bargained for when she is set up for murder. Perfect for fans of One of Us is Lying, E. Lockhart, and Gillian Flynn.
17-year-old Kim never expected to plot a murder. But that was before her boyfriend dumped her for another girl. Now, Kim’s stuck on a class trip to London with him and his new soulmate and she can’t help wishing he was a little bit dead, even if she’d never really do that.
But when Kim meets Nicki, a stranger on the plane who’s more than willing to listen to Kim’s woes, things start to look up. Nicki’s got a great sense of humor, and when she jokes about swapping murders, Kim plays along—that is, until Kim’s ex-boyfriend mysteriously dies.
Blackmailed by Nicki to fulfill her end of the deal, Kim will have to commit a murder or take the fall for one.
I did love One Of Us Is Lying so when I saw this was recommended for fans of it and read the blurb I had to buy it! Now I just have to read it…

There we are I’ve reached the end of the ABC Book Challenge from A all the way through to Z I’ve shared memorable books alongside those still on my TBR!
