How’s everyone doing? I’ve been having some more meh days recently but with this week’s announcement in Scotland I’m seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I think we’re still looking at months of lockdown but there’s an end in sight. I’m looking forward to being able to give my goddaughter a hug again but I’m waiting until it’s safe to do so.
I’ve just realised that I’ve not actually posted since last week’s Six for Sunday! At least something is staying regular here on SWB!
Six for Sunday is a weekly meme hosted by the lovely Steph at ALITTLEBUTALOT. You can find a list of prompts for April, May and June here

Favourite Characters From Series
Today’s post is all about some of our favourite characters we’ve come across in book series. A lot of these are series that I’ve read in the last couple of years, I have a habit of getting super excited about certain series and then talking them to death! So you’ve probably heard me talking about a few of these before, so sorry!
Hermione Granger from Harry Potter by J. K. Rowling
I’m starting off with a classic here, I was 10 or 11 and in my final year of primary school when I discovered Harry Potter. I know Hermione is far from being an obscure character that barely shows up but is fabulous, but I really felt like it was one of the first times I saw a character I felt like I could see myself in in a book.
Silyen Jardine from the Dark Gifts Trilogy by Vic James
There are a few characters I could have picked from this trilogy but I’m going with Silyen as he was the character that kept me guessing throughout the whole trilogy, I could never quit figure him out and he was just so intriguing!
Ant and Bea from the Ant & Bea Mysteries by Rachel Ward
Okay, so I’ve cheated here slightly and this is a buy one get one free type of thing, because I couldn’t possibly separate the two of these. They’ve become friends over the first two books as they’ve found themselves in the middle of two crimes. This is a lovely cozy crime series and I love their friendship.
Liam Gerling from the Everless Duology by Sara Holland
As much as I loved Jules, Liam really intrigued me! I confess that along with Jules I started with the wrong impression of him and I would love to find out more of his back story. I’d love Sara to do a little collection of short stories and include something about his time at school.
Jupiter North from the Nevermoor series by Jessica Townsend
I’ve only read the first book in the series but as much as I love Morrigan Jupiter fascinates me! I’d love to know more about his past, tell me about his past, I’d love to know about his trials and adventures!
Bronn from the Isles of Storm and Sorrow trilogy by Bex Hogan
As anyone who takes part in the Six For Sunday Twitter chats knows that after reading Viper and Venom recently I have a bit of a soft spot for Bronn (along with everyone else). After the way Venom ended I’m in desperate need of Vulture to know how it ends, but Bex is cruel and keeping us waiting until next April!

They were my #SixforSunday! If you’ve taken part leave a link to your post below and I’ll be sure to check it out!
