Another Sunday in lockdown! However it has been brightened by yet another wonderful prompt from Steph for Six for Sunday! If you’ve not been joining in Steph is also doing wonderful Twitter chats on a Sunday evening so be sure to check it out this evening – 6pm BST!
Six for Sunday is a weekly meme hosted by the lovely Steph at ALITTLEBUTALOT. You can find a list of prompts for April, May and June here

Books On My TBR Because Of Someone Else’s Recommendation
So many books are on my Goodreads Want To Read shelf, as well as on my actual bookshelves thanks to recommendations and amazing reviews that cutting this down to just six books would have been impossible so instead I’ve gone with authors because so many have multiple books on my TBR thanks to the wonderful people of the book blogging world!
Melinda Salisbury

The Sin Eater’s Daughter + The Sleeping Prince + The Scarecrow Queen + State Of Sorrow + Song Of Sorrow + Hold Back The Tide
Queen Mel, as she has been quite rightly proclaimed by two very special bloggers, has been on my TBR for far too long. I have four of her books sitting on my shelves, I’m just missing the second two of her first trilogy. I’m thinking I’m going to try and read at least the first Sorrow book in May.
Sara Barnard

Beautiful Broken Things + A Quiet Kind Of Thunder + Goodbye, Perfect + Fierce Fragile Hearts
I own all of Sara’s currently published books, but I’ve not actually managed to read any of them yet. I have heard nothing but wonderful things about Sara’s books so I know that’s something I really should rectify soon! I actually have a spare copy of Goodbye, Perfect as I won a signed copy after I bought one, so if anyone would like my unsigned copy let me know!
S. M. Wilson

The Extinction Trials + The Extinction Trials – Exile + The Extinction Trials – Rebel
I only own the first book in this trilogy, it’s not my usual type of read but I’m told the series is amazing and I’ll enjoy it – should I ever get to it…
Katherine Webber

Wing Jones + Only Love Can Break Your Heart
Both of Katherine’s books are sitting on my shelf. I remember when Wing Jones came out all of SundayYA raved about it so I bought it (plus the sprayed edges are so pretty). Even though I’ve not read it yet I still went out and bought Katherine’s second book – I haven’t read that one either…
Bex Hogan

Viper actually arrived in a book subscription box last year, but after last week’s Six for Sunday twitter chat it became very clear this is a (future) trilogy that needs to be higher up my TBR so Viper will be a May read.
Circe by Madeline Miller

I’m can’t remember if someone specifically recommended Circe to me or if I was just one that was talked about on Book Twitter a lot and I picked up on it, but I own it now! Just to read it…

They were my #SixforSunday! If you’ve taken part leave a link to your post below and I’ll be sure to check it out!
