A Blogmas Giveaway!

I was meant to post this much much earlier today, but I got distracted by a book… I’m sure if anyone will understand it’s you guys!

A much as I love receiving presents at Christmas time I think maybe I love giving a little bit more! So today for day 7 of Blogmas here on SWB I’m starting a giveaway!

I’m sure all of you have plenty of books on your Christmas wish lists, but if there’s one you wish you’d asked for but left it off your list now is your chance! To win any book up to the value of £10 simply follow SWB, via WordPress or email, and leave me a comment below letting me know which book you’d love to receive this Christmas!

To show some extra love to the teachers who do such a wonderful job all year round encouraging a love of reading in children everywhere, I’m giving teachers the chance to win a new book for their classroom or school library! Simply let me know what year group you teach and the book you’d like to add to your school collection in your comment! I know what you teachers are like when it comes to your kids so this is as well as the book you would like for yourself, not instead of!

Competition Terms and Conditions

  1. The SWB Blogmas Giveaway competition is open to UK residents and residents of any country The Book Depository will ship to.
  2. To be eligible to win participants must be following Sarah Withers Blogs and leave a comment on this blog post stating the title they would like to win.
  3. Only one entry per person – No giveaway accounts allowed
  4. Names from all eligible comments will be listed and entered into Random.org list randomizer whichever name is listed first once the list is generated will be the winner.
  5. Participants must still be following SWB at the time of the draw. Should the winner not be following at the time of the draw a second name will be selected
  6. Two prizes are available 1x book up to the value of £10 (or equivalent) for all participants and 1x book up to the value of £10 for teachers to add to their class/school library. If the value of the book chosen is lower no cash alternative will be offered
  7. The giveaway will run from 20:00 7th December to 23:59 14th December 2019.
  8. The draw will take place 15th December 2019 and the winner will be contacted by 23:59 15th December 2019.
  9. All times listed are GMT
  10. Following the confirmation of the winner’s delivery address the chosen book will be ordered and dispatched directly to the winner at the website’s standard shipping speed. I cannot guarantee it will be received in time for Christmas

    This is so nice of you!

    I teach biology to year 7-13, so I’d love to get something accessible but science-based for my classroom, like What if? by Randall Munroe or A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson.

    I’m disappointed I didn’t get around to getting a copy of Two Dark Reigns by Kendare Blake at some point this year, so that’d be my choice for me!
