Good evening! I’m posting a little later in the day today but I really wanted to get something posted for today’s prompt. I sat down last night trying to decide how to tackle this prompt, what exactly is it that makes a book title extraordinary… I settled for a title that makes me go ooh…. They say not to judge a book by its cover, but I definitely judge them by their titles!

I’m starting off with a wonderful middle grade novel. This one caught my eye while I was browsing the Overdrive app, it immediately captured my imagination and I needed to know what or where these impossible places were! The follow up The Great Brain Robbery has an equally brilliant sounding title!

Another middle grade novel here, and who isn’t excited when presented with a title like that, has she literally turned into a mermaid? This is information that I need to know! Yes this is still sitting on my shelf…
A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder by Holly Jackson

This is another wonderful question bringing title, who is this good girl? Is she the one committing murder and telling people how to get away with it? I absolutely loved this book, and the sequel has just been announced with another brilliant title, Good Girl, Bad Blood.

The Fourth Monkey by J.D. Barker

We all know about the three wise monkeys: See no evil; Hear no evil; Speak no evil, but what is the fourth monkey in reference to? I needed to know! I’m due a re-read of this one and the two other books in the trilogy are now available!

This is the second of the Mclean Novels, I was already a bit of a fan after the first, but this title certainly had me sit up and pay attention!

What happened at Black Hollow Lane? Quite frankly I needed to know so I bought it! I’ll let you in on secret, I still haven’t got to this one yet so I’m still waiting to find out!

#Murdertrending was always going to capture my attention as a crime fan and it most definitely did! I have so many questions about this one, and it’s sitting on my shelf waiting for me to figure it out!

Cadaver & Queen by Alisa Kwitney

Cadaver and Queen are not two words that you would expect to find in such close proximity so I was immediately intrigued as to what the story was about!
