So this is last week’s topic… I thought I was so prepared, I’d written the post well in advance, I just forgot to actually schedule it… Oops! Anyway on with the post!
Six for Sunday is a weekly meme hosted by the lovely Steph at ALITTLEBUTALOT. You can find a list of prompts from July to December 2019 here

Characters You’d Love To Be Friends With
I’m totally cheating here as I couldn’t possibly pick just six… in my defence although there are more than six characters only six books are featured. So actually not cheating at all!
Casper Tock, Utterly Thankless and Arlo from Rumblestar by Abi Elphinstone

I absolutely adored these three characters! From the moment I met Casper I identified with him, and not just because I have a rather unorganised parent. It’s a good job my grandma with her spare key was only a few minutes up the road! Utterly grew on me hugely as the story went on and we gained more and more understanding of why she behaved the way she did, I wanted to give her such a big hug! And then Arlo that brave little guy! Who wouldn’t want a little dragon as a friend?

Luna Lovegood and Hermione Granger from Harry Potter by J. K. Rowling

Hermione will forever feature in any list like this for me. I would have quite happily holed up in the library with her writing essays and practicing spells! Luna across the books showed that while looking at things a little differently she is a wonderful friend so I’d very much like to help her stand up to her bullies! I’m going to be honest I couldn’t really be bothered being friends with Harry during his teenage years, and I probably would have punched Ron so I’ll just stick to the girls…

Nettie, Fletch, Kiki, Alec and Leon from SING (Like No One’s Listening) by Vanessa Jones

These characters are a little bit older when we first get to know them at Dukes and I’d love to head out for a few drinks with them! They seem so much fun!

Grace and Anna from The State Of Grace by Rachael Lucas

Grace and Anna have such a lovely friendship that I think it’s almost impossible to read it and not want to be friends with the two of them.
Tiga, Fluttanora and Peggy from Witch Wars by Sibéal Pounder

I loved the friendship that developed between these three girls during the course of the first book. I think I’d very much enjoy exploring Sinkville with them and I’m looking forward to finally getting around to the second book in the series.
Agatha Oddly from Agatha Oddly by Lena Jones

Agatha lands herself in some awkward situations and whilst probably terrifying at times I think it would also be a lot of fun to take part in some of her investigations!
