It’s time to move another letter down the alphabet for The ABC Book Challenge!
Every couple of weeks I’ll be sharing at least one memorable book with a title beginning with the letter of the week, and one (or more) books currently on my TBR.
I’ll be ignoring any As etc at the beginning of titles

The ABC Book Challenge – F
A Memorable Book…

Floored by multiple authors
About the book.
The Breakfast Club meets One Day in Floored, a unique collaborative novel by seven bestselling and award-winning YA authors: Sara Barnard, Holly Bourne, Tanya Byrne, Non Pratt, Melinda Salisbury, Lisa Williamson and Eleanor Wood.
When they got in the lift, they were strangers (though didn’t that guy used to be on TV?): Sasha, who is desperately trying to deliver a parcel; Hugo, who knows he’s the best-looking guy in the lift and is eyeing up Velvet, who knows what that look means when you hear her name and it doesn’t match the way she looks, or the way she talks; Dawson, who was on TV, but isn’t as good-looking as he was a few years ago and is desperately hoping no one recognizes him; Kaitlyn, who’s losing her sight but won’t admit it, and who used to have a poster of Dawson on her bedroom wall, and Joe, who shouldn’t be here at all, but who wants to be here the most.
And one more person, who will bring them together again on the same day every year.
I’ll admit this book took me a little while to get into but at some point it just suddenly clicked! I absolutely love the general concept behind this
A Book On My TBR…

The Fandom by Anna Day
About the book
Violet’s in her element. Cosplay at the ready, she can’t wait to feel part of her favorite fandom: The Gallows Dance, a mega book and movie franchise that she and her friends know EVERY WORD of (canon and fanfic included).
But at Comic Con, a freak accident transports Violet and her friends into the story for real. And in just the first five minutes, they cause the death of the heroine, and get taken prisoner by the rebel group she was supposed to lead to victory.
It’s up to Violet to take her place, and play out the plot the way it was written. But stories have a life of their own, and when you change the script in one place, the rest gets revised too…
I have a few close friends who simply adore Anna, and I’ve had this book for far too long without reading it already! I really should get to it before Charlotte disowns me

The Flatshare by Beth O’Leary
About the book
Tiffy Moore and Leon Twomey each have a problem and need a quick fix.
Tiffy’s been dumped by her cheating boyfriend and urgently needs a new flat. But earning minimum wage at a quirky publishing house means that her choices are limited in London.
Leon, a palliative care nurse, is more concerned with other people’s welfare than his own. Along with working night shifts looking after the terminally ill, his sole focus is on raising money to fight his brother’s unfair imprisonment.
Leon has a flat that he only uses 9 to 5. Tiffy works 9 to 5 and needs a place to sleep. The solution to their problems? To share a bed of course…
As Leon and Tiffy’s unusual arrangement becomes a reality, they start to connect through Post-It notes left for each other around the flat.
Can true love blossom even in the unlikeliest of situations?
Can true love blossom even if you never see one another?
Or does true love blossom when you are least expecting it?
This book featured in my 2019 Debuts post right back at the start of the year but I’ve not gotten around to buying it yet. I’m not sure how quickly I’d read it if I bought the hardback so I may wait until the paperback is released or see if it arrives on the library eBook lending app.

One memorable and two to be read F books! Let me know yours in the comments and be sure to come back on the 8th August to discover my G books!

I really liked Floored, and I really enjoyed the Flatshare too! It was such a lovely book and I adored Tiffy and Leon (especially Tiffy. And Gerty is a QUEEN). One I really love with an F title is Fierce Fragile Hearts 💜

I’m not going to disown you over The Fandom, but it is a good read. The sequel is even better!
