It’s time to move another letter down the alphabet for The ABC Book Challenge!
Every couple of weeks I’ll be sharing at least one memorable book with a title beginning with the letter of the week, and one (or more) books currently on my TBR.
I’ll be ignoring any As etc at the beginning of titles

The ABC Book Challenge – E
A Memorable Book…

About the book
In the land of Sempera, the rich control everything – even time. Ever since the age of alchemy and sorcery, hours, days and years have been extracted from blood and bound to iron coins. The rich live for centuries; the poor bleed themselves dry.
Jules and her father are behind on their rent and low on hours. To stop him from draining himself to clear their debts, Jules takes a job at Everless, the grand estate of the cruel Gerling family.
There, Jules encounters danger and temptation in the guise of the Gerling heir, Roan, who is soon to be married. But the web of secrets at Everless stretches beyond her desire, and the truths Jules must uncover will change her life for ever … and possibly the future of time itself.
If you’ve been reading Sarah Withers Blogs for a while then you’ll be well aware how much I love this and the follow up Evermore! Jules’s story is wonderful and I loved the concept of time being money, even if the idea is a little scary!
A Book On My TBR…

About the book
A locked room. A dead body. A secret that went to the grave.
When retired police officer Finlay Shaw is found dead in a locked room, everyone thinks it’s suicide. But disgraced detective William ‘Wolf’ Fawkes isn’t so sure.
Together with his former partner Detective Emily Baxter and private detective Edmunds, Wolf’s team begin to dig into Shaw’s early days on the beat. Was Shaw as innocent as he seemed? Or is there more to his past than he’d ever let on?
But not everyone wants Wolf back – and as his investigation draws him ever deeper into police corruption, it will not only be his career on the line – but the lives of those he holds closest as well…
I was a big fan of the first two books in this series, Ragdoll and Hangman, so I’m really intrigued about this one.

The Extinction Trials by S. M. Wilson
About the book
Betrayal. Sacrifice. Survival.
Welcome to the Extinction Trials.
In Stormchaser and Lincoln’s ruined world, the only way to survive is to risk everything. To face a contest more dangerous than anyone can imagine. And they will do anything to win.
But in a land full of monsters – human and reptilian – they can’t afford to trust anyone. Perhaps not even each other…
This book arrived in one of my subscription boxes and I just haven’t got around to it yet. I know people who have absolutely raved about this whole series so I should get to it soonish… Probably…

One memorable and two to be read E books! Let me know yours in the comments and be sure to come back on the 25th to discover my F books!

Oh wow – I loved Ragdoll and somehow missed Hangman. Now there’s Endgame!? I’m so behind. Thanks for the post so that I could see what I’m missing.

I loved the idea of this format for a blog posting! I also loved the content of this one. The books sound great, especially Everless and Endgame. My poor TBR list!

I really liked Eagle Warrior, which I read last month. I’m struggling to think of other E titles, though I’m sure I will have read some…
