Here we are on another Sunday evening for what is one of my favourite posts of the week! Life-wise this week has been pretty quite, I’ve been busy at work, and had to travel across to Glasgow twice this week which makes for a long day! I can’t quite believe that the longest day of the year is upon us next week, and slightly saddened by the fact it means the days will be getting shorter again! Other than that I’m counting down the days until my spa trip, less than two weeks to go now!

Books I’ve Read This Week

On SWB This Week
I started the week with a middle grade review, talking about Sidetracked by Diana Harmon Asher; then I took part in Top Ten Tuesday; Wednesday was time for another review, this time featuring adult crime and No Time To Cry by James Oswald; Tag Thursday saw me take on the next letter in The ABC Book Challenge; yesterday I shared the contents on my May Pink Parcel; and finally earlier today I took part in Six for Sunday.

From Around The Blogsphere
Some of my favourite blog posts from the past week
Jemma featured the cover reveal for Harley In The Sky, I’m still to pick up a Akemi Dawn Bowman book but I have friends that will always tell me how wonderful they are. I love this cover and the book sounds brilliant! Beth shared some fantastic LGBTQIA+ books to read during Pride Month (or at any other time), and Charlotte shared her Mid Year Freak Out Tag which I loved reading and discovering some suggestions!
Book reviews I loved: The Dragon In The Library on Book Murmuration; Scythe and Thunderhead on Charlotte, Somewhere; All Eyes On Us on The Bookish Libra; Dead Inside on Snazzy Books; and Fierce Fragile Hearts on Charlotte, Somewhere.
Top Ten Tuesday this week was all about our unpopular bookish opinions! Some posts to check out: The Bookish Libra; Tea Party Princess; Pretty Purple Polka Dots; Reading Through Infinity; and Books In The Skye
Six For Sunday this week saw us picking the baddies we’d love to read more about! Be sure to take a look at these posts: A Little But A Lot; Charlotte, Somewhere; Chrikaru Reads; and Fantastic Books And Where To Find Them

I read Conviction by Denise Mina, set partially in Scotland this week. I highly recommend it, I thought it was fabulous
