I started the week enjoying my bank holiday Monday just relaxing, doing a little reading and actually getting some blog posts scheduled a novel experience for me! I also worked from home on Wednesday and Thursday so it was nice to not have to deal with an hour and a bit commute each way, especially given the weather, I was quite smug to have avoided the rain! Then Friday I had a team meeting, followed by lunch out and drinks to celebrate a colleague moving into another team. This morning I booked a spa day for the end of the month. I’m going with one of my best friends, it’s a gift for her birthday from earlier in the year, it’s a deal that includes a short massage and a facial as well as use of all the facilities, I cannot wait!

Books I’ve Read This Week

On SWB This Week
For a change it’s been a busy week on SWB! Tuesday meant Top Ten Tuesday and this week I shared some of my favourite books of the last ten years. For once I’d read enough to take part in WWW Wednesday and I also shared a Q&A post. Thursday I shared my B books for the ABC Book Challenge. Friday was all about crime fiction as I took part in the blog tour for Nick Louth’s latest novel. Saturday I shared some of the amazing books that are due out this month and this morning I took part in Six for Sunday and shared some of the books I’d love to see!

From Around The Blogsphere
As always I read some great posts this week!
Connie shared some YALC tips – which once again has me jealous of everyone going! Beth shared a really informative post on Twitter analytics which is definitely helpful for anyone trying to grow their audience. Amy shared five books that remind her of Panic! At The Disco songs. Charlotte completed The A-Z Bookish Survey Tag, which I may have inflicted on her!
Book Reviews I loved: Kathy @ Books & Munches reviewed City of Ghosts by Victoria Schwab; Sophie @ Romantics, Rebels and Reviews reviewed Bold Lies by Rachel Lynch; and Rachel @ Get Kids Into Books reviewed Rumblestar by Abi Elphinstone
Top Ten Tuesday posts to check out: Aoife @ Pretty Purple Polka Dots; Suzanne @ The Bookish Libra; Rae @ Thrifty Bibliophile; Kate @ Reading Through Infinity; Hannah @ A Cup Of Wonderland; and Chrissi @ Chrissi Reads
Six for Sunday posts to read: Charlotte @ Charlotte, Somewhere; Christina @ Chirkaru Reads; Jemma @ Fantastic Books; and Steph @ A Little But A Lot

What a lovely week! I like having time to do things in my own order, as long as I do it all that day. We are trying to get a bit of a summer routine though. Happy reading!
