The Sunday Post – 26th May 2019

This week passed in a bit of a blur, the joys of a four day week, I’ve been enjoying a four day weekend which will conclude with the bank holiday tomorrow and I feel I’ve finally broken through my reading slump! I’m not claiming to have read huge amounts by any means but I have now read more in May than I managed in the first four months of the year!

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly at Caffeinated Reviewer

Books I’ve Read This Week

On SWB This Week

It’s been a fairly quiet week on SWB this week, I twisted the Top Ten Tuesday prompt and shared ten books I’d do most things to own, I finally shared my review of The Exact Opposite Of Okay and this morning’s Six For Sunday shared six 2019 releases I’m excited for!

From Around The Blogsphere

Elsewhere on the web there were some fantastic book reviews – Kate reviewed Girl Gone Viral; Lindsey reviewed Going Off Script and hosted a giveaway; and Kathy reviewed Starry Eyes. Kate’s Top Ten Tuesday post featured books she’d dive into a volcano to protect. Beth shared some great tips for those lucky enough to be attending YALC this year. Finally other Six For Sunday posts introduced me to some fantastic sounding books – see posts from Rosie, Steph, Charlotte and Christina. Also as a bonus Six for Sunday post Steph shared the prompts for the second half of the year so be sure to bookmark and join in!

Coming Up On SWB

This week on SWB I’ll be sharing a Top Ten Tuesday post, sharing my B books for the ABC Book Challenge and taking part in the The Body In The Mist blog tour.

That was my week I’m off to read the Fall/Winter YA Buzz Book and see what new books I discover! Let me know your favourite blog post of the week, either one you’ve written or read somewhere else, and I’ll be sure to check it out!

This week has been fairly eventful for me (as you know!), and it’s felt very long, but I’m really pleased I managed to read 5 books. My favourite post I wrote was probably the Bank Holiday Book Tag because it was really fun, and my favourite I read I’m not sure of, only because I’ve read so many fab ones! My favourite of the books I’ve read was definitely Spies in St Petersburg!

I hope you’ve enjoyed the bank holiday weekend, it was nice to see some sunshine for once! Lol!

I’ve been hopping around the blogosphere myself this weekend; there are some great posts out there. Thanks for your recommendations, I’m going to check them out too.

I hope you have a great week, Sarah and enjoy your reads.
