Welcome to tonight’s late night edition of The Sunday Post! Reading that back this sounds like there’s something risque to come, there’s not, it’s just after 10pm here but I wanted to make sure I managed to post this today.
It’s been another busy week at work but for what feels like the first time in a long time I’ve managed to do some reading and actually post a review. It’s a little thing but it actually feels great! We actually had a few days of stunning weather in Edinburgh which has definitely been a bonus, despite the fact I was in the office for most of it.
I had chance to binge another few episodes of Season 4 of Lucifer – I have so much love for that show, then last night I caught a bit of Eurovision, there were some okay pop tunes, and then Iceland happened and I’m still not quite sure what I watched, but I only had one strawberry gin and lemonade!
The week ahead sees a short work week and a four day weekend which I’m certainly looking forward to. I have a list of books I’m looking forward to reading already. Before I get to enjoy that I have an interview for a promotion at work to get through so wish me luck!

Books I’ve Read This Week

On SWB This Week
This week on SWB started on Tuesday when I posted my take on Top Ten Tuesday’s Pages To The Screen freebie. Tag Thursday saw me start The ABC Book Challenge, sharing a memorable book, and a book on my TBR both starting with the letter A. Friday saw me sharing my first review in too long, it was also my very first middle grade review, the first in the Agatha Oddly series. I rounded off the week this morning as I shared six books already released in 2019 that are sitting on my shelves I can’t wait to read as part of Six For Sunday.

From Around The Blogsphere
Once again I read some fantastic blog posts this week. As part of Mental Health Awareness Week Chrissi shared some Books for Young Children Around Mental Health and Charlotte shared a really moving post about body positivity. Christina shared five things she’d learnt from a year of blogging, and there’s some great advice in her post. Top Ten Tuesday this week was a Pages To The Screen Freebie and across the internet there were some great posts – here are some examples from Nicole, Aoife, and Jo. Six for Sunday this week featured 2019 releases we want to read and I loved seeing which books excite some of my fellow bloggers – be sure to check out posts from Christina, Jemma, Steph, Aoife and Charlotte. Finally this week saw some great reviews including these reviews of Viper and Ada Twist and the Perilous Pantaloons.

Coming Up On SWB
Another review! Plus Top Ten Tuesday, Tag Thursday and Six for Sunday.

That was my week! Let me know your favourite blog post of the week, either one you’ve written or read somewhere else, and I’ll be sure to check it out!
