The theme for this month is incredible apt as my TBR is slowly reaching the point where it may topple and kill me in my sleep! Today I’m sharing six of the books released in 2019 that are already sitting on my shelves waiting for me to read them. With any luck I will get to them some time in 2019, but they are far from the only 2019 books already sitting on my shelf.
Six for Sunday is a weekly meme hosted by the lovely Steph at ALITTLEBUTALOT. You can find a list of prompts from January to June 2019 here

2019 Books I Want To Read
To Night Owl From Dogfish – Holly Goldberg Sloan & Meg Wolitzer
I bought this one soon after it was released in February but haven’t got around to reading it yet. I have a book to read for a blog tour that’s coming up but I’m thinking I might pick this up after.
A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder – Holly Jackson
This one was only released at the beginning of the month so at least currently I’m not too far behind in reading it. I’ve a four day weekend coming up so maybe I’ll get to this one too.
A Curse So Dark and Lonely – Brigid Kemmerer
I was actually approved for this one on Netgalley but didn’t get round to reading it. I now own two copies of it, one I purchased and another gorgeous hardback edition that came with my Fairyloot subscription.
Hot Dog Girl – Jennifer Dugan
This looks like such a fun read, and the cover is so pretty, despite my dark heart I love the pastel shades. I’ve got a fair bit of dark adult crime to read ahead so I think this will be a delightful palate cleanser.
You Owe Me A Murder – Eileen Cook
Stranger on a Train in YA form, this sounds incredible so I’m looking forward to picking it up
Cold As The Grave – James Oswald
I adore the Inspector McLean novels and I’m slightly surprised myself that I haven’t read this once since it was released back in February, but I’ll get to it soon!

They were my #SixforSunday! In fact they may become my TBR for the upcoming long weekend! If you’ve taken part leave a link to your post below and I’ll be sure to check it out!

I have read A Curse so Dark and Lonely and enjoyed it! I’m also hoping to read To Night Owl from Dogfish as I loved Counting by 7s. I have far too many unread books surrounding me, but going to work is getting in the way of reading, lol.

I own From Night Owl to Dogfish and A Curse So Dark and Lonely, and am looking forward to getting to both but especially the first because Holly Goldberg Sloan wrote one of my favourite books ever. Hot Dog Girl is with me on holiday, so hopefully I’ll get to that. And I LOVED a Good Girl’s Guide to Murder when I read it yesterday as you know! I’m intrigued by You Owe Me a Murder but haven’t bought it yet.

I’ve got better this year – I do still have too many older books to read as well. I’d say one day I’d catch up but I know that would be a lie lol

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is outstanding and possibly one of my favourite crime novels ever! I have ‘A Curse so Dark and Lonely’ and looking forward to reading it but I’m now really intrigued by ‘Hot Dog Girl’ too!

I read AGGGTM this weekend and adored it! I’m hoping everything else will be a June read for me.
