You may have noticed that today is not Sunday… I had a bit of a busy weekend which is why last week’s The Sunday Post is coming to you a day late. One of my closest friends came to spend part of the weekend with me, we checked out the Robot Exhibition at the National Museum, before heading for a few cocktails at this fantastic Speakeasy called Panda & Sons, before having dinner at Wahaca. Yesterday we walked over to North Queensferry for breakfast in one of my favourite brunch places, it was just a fantastic and relaxing 24 hours.
I didn’t have time yesterday to get this post finished but it is one of my regular posts so I didn’t want to just miss it!

On SWB This Week
I started off the week sharing my unboxing of April’s Wildest Dreams book box. I then looked ahead into May and shared some of the fantastic books due to be released into wild this month. I also had a lot of fun talking about some of the TV and Film characters I’d have fun swapping places with and then it was time for another Six For Sunday – May is all about our Ever Growing TBR Pile, and this week I shared some of the 2018 releases I still haven’t read.

Some of my favourite blog posts from the past week
Top Ten Tuesday was all about inspirational book quotes, and although I didn’t take part this week I loved reading Chrissi, Jo, and Kate’s posts. Sarah Elizabeth re-read Harry Potter and shared some of the plot points that got her thinking. Jemma shared her review of A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder, which is a book I’m so looking forward to reading. I read some other fantastic reviews this week, including FictionFan’s review of Critical Incidents, Suzanne reviewed Pride, Prejudice and Other Flavours and Hollie shared her review of The Paper & Hearts Society. So there was a lot of stuff that went down on Book Twitter in the past few weeks, and to take something positive from it Layla asked people to tell her their favourite book by a POC. She shared the master list on her blog, an incredible 340 books! Amy shared the May releases she’s looking forward to. Finally some of my favourite bloggers also took part in Six For Sunday – including Aoife, Steph, Charlotte, Jemma and Christina.

Coming Up On SWB
This week I’ll be sharing the contents of my April Fairyloot box!

That was my week! Let me know your favourite blog post of the week, either one you’ve written or read somewhere else, and I’ll be sure to check it out!
