The Sunday Post – 10th March 2019

It’s been forever since I sat down and wrote a Sunday Post, plenty has been going on since my last post in January including a rather unplanned trip to hospital a couple of weekends ago. Fortunately it was fairly minor as far as reasons for hospital admissions go, but I went from visiting out of hours to theatre in under 12 hours, so as much as I appreciated the NHS before I appreciate it even more now after experiencing how well NHS Fife looked after me, especially at the weekend!

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly at Caffeinated Reviewer

On SWB This Week

On Tuesday I shared 10 characters I’d like to swap places with for Top Ten Tuesday

On Thursday I completed The Three Bookish Things Tag

On Friday I posted my unboxing of Fairyloot’s February box – Beast and Beauty

On Sunday I shared my favourite illustrators for Six for Sunday

From Around The Blogsphere

Some of my favourite blog posts from the past week

I loved reading other people’s Top Ten Tuesday post and seeing which character’s they’d like to switch places with! Book Lovers Blog, Books in the Skye, Literary Weaponry, The Biblioshelf and Chrissi Reads all shared theirs, and Reading Through Infinity twisted the prompt and shared 10 characters she’d not want to swap with.

Golden Book Girl also completed the Three Bookish Things tag and I loved reading her answers

Readable Life took part in the Proud blog tour and I loved reading about her favourite LGBT+ characters

To celebrate the release of A Girl Called Shameless Tea Party Princess shared a playlist Laura Steven created for Izzy. There are so many fantastic tracks on there!

Also this week was World Book Day and I loved reading about bloggers childhood favourites including these posts from Northern Plunder, Readable Life and Books and Lemon Squash

Coming Up On SWB

This coming week I’ll be sharing my thoughts on The Exact Opposite of Okay and well as taking part in Top Ten Tuesday, Tag Thursday and Six For Sunday!

That was my week! Let me know your favourite blog post of the week, either one you’ve written or read somewhere else, and I’ll be sure to check it out!

Aww thank you! I love writing them!

And it was my first real experience of using the NHS, I’d been to A&E before but never as an in patient. I’ve always been appreciative of the NHS but it really drove home how lucky we are to have it, I was taken into surgery the same day without have to worry about paying for anything or what my insurance would cover…
