Good morning everyone! Welcome to the first Six For Sunday of March on SWB! It’s the first Six For Sunday of March and this month’s prompts all surround the theme An Ode To… so expect to see plenty of my favourite things starting this week with six of my favourite authors!

Favourite Authors
This week is such a tough prompt, I have so many authors I love it’s not been easy narrowing it down to just six!
J. K. Rowling
J. K. Rowling was a huge part of my childhood reading with the Harry Potter series, I absolutely adored them and will still happily re-read them. Now as an adult her Robert Galbraith – Cormoran Strike books have me eagerly waiting for the next instalment just as the HP novels did when I was younger.
James Oswald
James is the author behind one of my favourite crime series, the Inspector McLean books, I love the mix of crime with a hint of supernatural. He’s also written a separate, connected series I’m keen to start!
Vic James
Frequent readers of SWB will know I have strong feelings about the Dark Gifts trilogy, I adored it and I’m said it’s over! I am really looking forward to her debut adult novel this year.
Philip Pullman
I read so many Philip Pullman stories as a child, obviously the His Dark Materials Trilogy but also the Sally Lockhart Quartet and a few of his standalone novels as well.
Sara Holland
Sara may be a a relatively new author but her Everless Duology firmly placed her up there as one of my favourite authors, I can’t wait to see what she brings out next.
Ben Aaronovitch
The Rivers of London series is another of my favourite crime series which mixes crime with fantasy, I absolutely adore these stories and the way they are brought to life in the audiobooks is incredible!
