Six For Sunday – LGBT books I still need to read

Not going to lie, totally cheating on this one, I had a list written but then I got admitted to hospital on Saturday so didn’t get a chance to write the post, so I’m backdating…

Six for Sunday is a weekly meme hosted by the lovely Steph at ALITTLEBUTALOT. You can find a list of prompts from January to June 2019 here

LGBT books I still need to read

This list could easily grow to scary numbers, there are so many LGBT books on my TBR that I haven’t got to yet, including some pretty major releases! Titles will link to Goodreads…

Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens AgendaBecky Albertalli

I got Leah On The Offbeat as part of my Wildest Dreams subscription and picked up this one because I knew I’d need to read it first, naturally I’ve not got around to it yet.

Noah Can’t EvenSimon James Green

I bought this one based on a recommendation and I honestly meant to read it at the time but got distracted by something else – lord knows what, maybe now I’m off work for a few days I’ll get to it.

To Night Owl From DogfishHolly Goldberg Sloan and Meg Wolitzer

This was only released this month and is already sitting on my shelf, I’ve seen it described as Parent Trap like with the two girls both being brought up by their single, gay, dads. Not sure exactly how much rep is in the book but it sounds like an interesting MG read.

More Happy Than NotAdam Silvera

I’ve heard many good things about Adam but not read any of his novels so when I spotted this in Waterstones I picked it up and now it’s sitting on my bought this month shelf!

Proud – Edited by Juno Dawson

An LBGTQ+ anthology compiled by Juno Dawson and due out in March, this one is a must buy for me!

Belly UpEva Darrows

This one sounds really interesting, it comes out in April so I think I might pre-order it

They were my #SixforSunday! If you’ve taken part leave a link to your post below and I’ll be sure to check it out!
