SWB is 2!

1st January 2019 marks SWB’s second birthday! When I began Sarah Withers Blogs back on in 2017 I never imagined I’d actually make it into my third year but here I am at the beginning of it!

SWB has changed a few times over the past two years most recently 2 nights ago when I decided to give it a refresh looks-wise in time for 2019! Apologies if the front page looks a little strange for a while, my last theme displayed featured images as squares, but this one displays them as rectangles so parts of the old images are cut off. It will look better once the front page display is filled with newer posts!

I’m really looking forward to 2019 here on SWB – since starting my new job in July I’m gradually getting used to a much longer commute and working on balancing out my work life balance so I’m hoping that the big hiatuses that accidentally filled 2018 will be few and far between!

I had planned to do a giveaway on Christmas Eve but I went to stay with a friend’s family and time completely ran away with me and I forgot to schedule the post. So instead I’m going to include a giveaway here!

January marks the start of a whole new year of books to look forward to! So to celebrate SWB’s second birthday I’m giving you the chance to win your most anticipated release of 2019!

Simply reply to this post with the 2019 release you’d like to win and if you’re the lucky winner I’ll pre-order it for you! Please read the terms and conditions below and be sure to check out SWB over the next week when I’ll be sharing some of the 2019 novels I’m most looking forward to to give you some ideas!

Happy New Year/blogiversary! I am so excited for so many books, but I think Happy Girl Lucky has to be my absolute most anticipated of all of them (even though I’m also terrified to read it because Geek Girl is so special to me that I don’t know how I’ll feel about it. I’m optimistic though!)

Happy New Year & Happy Blogaversary!

Book I’m most looking forward to in 2019 is Ali Smith’s Spring in March – not sure my feelings on that need to be expanded on really!

Looking forward to your 2019 blogging! xx

Happy birthday to your blog! 🙂

There’s this Edgar Poe retelling anthology coming out in September, His Hideous Heart, and I’ve had my eye on it for a while, so if I win, that’s the one I’d wish for. Sounds creepy and awesome!

Loving the new blog look Sarah! Happy 2nd blogging birthday! I think my most anticipated book is Atlas Alone by Emma Newman, which is her first direct sequel in the Planetfall series (there are other books, but they can all be read as standalones).
