Good evening! I’m pretty late today with this Top Ten Tuesday post but I hope you’ll enjoy it anyway! Today’s theme is Winter 2018 TBR I’ve recently posted My Post-Christmas TBR where I talked about a few of the books I currently have sitting on my shelf that I’d like to read in that weird week between Christmas and the end of the year. So today I’m doing something a little bit different based on the dates of the astronomical winter here in the Northern hemisphere. This puts winter between the Winter Solstice on December 21st and the Spring Equinox on March 20th 2019. My Winter 2018/19 TBR below features 10 books that are due for release during this period that I’d actually quite like to get around to reading pretty quickly – Of course I say this about all the books I buy so there’s no guarantee I’ll have got to them before 2019 ends!

My Winter 2018/19 TBR

This Lie Will Kill Youby Chelsea Pitcher
UK Publication: 27th December 2018
I love a good YA thriller and this one sounds so good!
Evermore by Sara Holland
UK Publication: 31st December 2018
You may have seen me rave about Everless at the beginning of the year, so it’s not a surprise I’m really looking forward to the follow up!
Two Can Keep A Secret by Karen M. McManus
UK Publication: 10th January 2019
One Of Us Is Lying was another 2018 debut I adored so I’m excited for this next novel from Karen M. McManus
A Curse So Dark And Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer
UK Publication: 29th January 2019
I love Brigid’s books so this fantasy retelling of Beauty and the Beast sounds great.
The Hunting Party by Lucy Foley
UK Publication: 24th January 2019
This was sounds a little dark and atmospheric so it appeals to me. Although if we have another Beast From The East I’m not sure I want to be snowed in while reading about murder and mayhem at a snowed in hunting lodge!
A Danger To Herself And Others by Alyssa Sheinmel
UK Publication: 5th February 2019
This is a really interesting sounding story, I’m not quite sure what to expect from it
You Can’t Hide by Sarah Mussi
UK Publication: 7th February 2019
Another YA thriller makes the list – I’ve only read the blurb and I NEED to know who Charlie is!
Cold As The Grave by James Oswald
UK Publication: 7th Februry 2019
I love the Inspector McLean series so I’m so excited for book 9!
You Owe Me A Murder by Eileen Cook
US Publication: 5th March 2019
This sounds like a modern YA adaptation of Strangers On A Train and I can’t wait to get my hands on it.
The Guilty Party by Mel McGrath
UK Publication: 7th March 2019
This is an intriguing premise and I need to know who the body is!

That’s my Winter 2018/19 TBR. Do any of these catch your eye? Are there any early 2019 releases you’re looking forward to reading? Let me know in the comments!

I’m so looking forward to Two Can Keep a Secret and This Lie Will Kill You 😊. You do my murder and I’ll do yours is quite possibly my fave mystery trope EVER so I will very likely be reading You Owe Me a Murder now I know it exists.
