The Sunday Post – 9th December 2018

Christmas is well and truly in swing here at SWB. Last weekend was spent decorating houses, both my own and a friends and finishing off Christmas shopping! This week the blog has been filled with Blogmas posts and I even went to my first Christmas night out of the year on Friday!

I have to admit quite often I feel like a bit of a Grinch but this year I am well and truly in the spirit, maybe it’s because I’ve been spending a fair amount of time with my goddaughter and her little brother and they are all about Christmas!

I’ve also started thinking about some 2019 books I’d like to pre-order to give myself a small monthly treat – if you’ve got any 2019 must reads let me know and I’ll check them out!

Books I’ve Read This Week

I’ve not finished any books this week, although I am reading Let It Snow by John Green, Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle and I started listening to the audiobook of Lies Sleeping, the latest Ben Aaronovitch which I am loving as usual!

Friday: Friday’s post was all about music, specifically some of my favourite Christmas songs that have pride of place on my phone now we’re into December
