Six for Sunday is a weekly meme hosted by the lovely Steph at ALITTLEBUTALOT. You can find a list of the remaining 2018 prompts here

My 2018 blogging highlights
Gaining More Followers
I blog for me, and I think that’s important but I do love seeing my follower number creep up, as it means that people out there are appreciating what I’m writing and sharing on SWB. In September 2017 I celebrated reaching 200 followers and now I’m heading towards 500 which blows my mind so thank you!
Meeting Bloggers
Back in January I met Charlotte from Charlotte, Somewhere for the first time, she’s been so supportive of me for so long so it’s been great to see her a few times this year! I’m looking forward to seeing her again in 2019 and hopefully meeting a few more blogging friends.
Attending Bookish Events
I attended some great bookish events this year. They’ve not been blogger events, but I’m definitely more aware of events now I’m blogging. I really enjoyed attending the launch of James Oswald’s latest Inspector McLean novel back at the start of the year. More recently I had the chance to meet the lovely Ceris from Sandstone Press and three of their lovely authors. I’ve also been luckily enough to be invited to some Blogger events this year, unfortunately they’ve all been in London and I’ve not had the funds to travel or been able to get time off work, but hopefully in 2019!
My Name In A Book!
I took part in the blog tour for Jenny Quintana’s debut novel The Missing Girl at the beginning of the year, when the book was published with a shiny new cover later in the year I was surprised and delighted to find part of my review had been quoted in the book.

Blogmas
I’m actually really loving taking part in Blogmas for the first time this year, it’s a bit of a challenge posting for me everyday, but I feel like I’ve neglected my blog a little bit at points this year so I’m enjoying building some momentum ready to take me through to 2019
Reading Some Fantastic Books
I’ve not read as many books this year as I managed last year but I have read some absolutely fantastic books this year. I’ve been extremely lucky to receive some books directly from publishers and through NetGalley. I’ve also recieved some fantastic recommendations from fellow bloggers. Everless and Bright Ruin have to be two of my favourite books of the year, The Gathering Dark was also fantastic, and I’ve no doubt Lethal White will earn itself a place up there when I finally get a chance to finish it!
A 2019 Bonus Highlight – A Blog Redesign
I’m really looking forward to giving the blog a bit of a new look in the new year, for now the general layout will remain the same but I’m saying goodbye to the cherry blossoms in the featured pictures and going geometric, with a cleaner font and some squares – I hope you’ll like it!

They were my #SixforSunday! If you’ve taken part leave a link to your post below and I’ll be sure to check it out!

Oh that’s a pretty cool list. I would definitely be happy to see my name in a book!
