Another fun and challenging prompt from Steph for this week’s Six For Sunday! I loved thinking about which characters I’d love to pick up and drop in another story!
Six for Sunday is a weekly meme hosted by the lovely Steph at ALITTLEBUTALOT. You can find a list of the remaining 2018 prompts here

Dream character and world mixtures
Silyen Jardine from the Dark Gifts Trilogy in the world of Harry PotterSilyen loves discovering more about what he can do with his gifts in the Dark Gifts trilogy so I’d love to send him to Hogwarts. There’s no doubt in my mind he’d be a Slytherin and who wouldn’t enjoy seeing him and Draco Malfoy face off to be the Prince of Snakes!
Hermione Granger from Harry Potter in the world of His Dark MaterialsComing from a magical world Hermione wouldn’t be completely thrown by Lyra’s Oxford and the magic it contains, I’d love to discover if her daemon would be an otter like her patronus. Plus we all know Hermione loves a cause so having her join with Lyra and Will to defeat The Authority would have been an interesting read!
Jenner Jardine from the Dark Gifts Trilogy in the world of The Edge of EverythingWithout giving away spoilers after Jenner crushed my heart in the Dark Gifts trilogy I would happily see him hunted down by X and the other bounty hunters from the Lowlands.
Temperance Brennan from the Bones books in the world of The Rivers of LondonBoth Book Tempe and TV Tempe are grounded and logic and science. As wonderful as she is I’d love to throw her into the world of PC Grant and DCI Nightingale and see how she manages to combine her belief and trust in science with the proof in front of her.
Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter in the world of EverlessFollowing the ending of Everless Jules could definitely do with a powerful ally in Sempera. I actually think Luna would be a good fit, like in Harry Potter her slight eccentricity would fool people into underestimating her which can only benefit Jules
Cormoran Strike in the world of SherlockTwo different but brilliant detectives I’d quite like to see what the two of them make of each other, but let’s be honest this is all about the television potential – Strike in modern day Sherlock yes please, two gorgeous, dark and brooding men who look particular good in long coats….

They were my #SixforSunday! Let me know which characters you would love to transplant into a different world! If you’ve taken part leave a link to your post below and I’ll be sure to check it out!
