Top Ten Tuesday – Bookish Merchandise Shops I Could Spend All My Money On!

This morning I’m slightly twisting today’s Top Ten Tuesday prompt, rather than sticking to ten single bookish items I’m sharing ten book merch shops where I could easily spend a fortune if I had the money!

All photos are from the respective websites and I’ll link to the main web page and the individual featured items in my post!

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme currently hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

Bookish Items/Merchandise I’d Like to Own

The Penguin Shop

I must confess to loving the old style Penguin books so the Penguin selection makes me smile.

Pride and Prejudice Print // Sherlock Mug // Spines Notebook

BookBestiesUK

I always feel bad if I’m carrying around a book in my handbag to read on my commute and it accidentally gets dog-eared so I think I need to invest in one of these beautiful book sleeves.

Harry Potter // Narnia // Winnie The Pooh

missbohemia

I love the Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan artwork on these items from missbohemia – they’re beautiful! I also really love this necklace

Alice in Wonderland Print // Bibliophile Necklace // Peter Pan Mug

LiteraryEmporium

I absolutely love so many of the pins that are available on LiteraryEmporium, and Katherina is possibly my favourite Shakespeare character. The Harry Potter notepads are beautiful and the jewellery is stunning! I’d totally wear the Frankenstein earrings has Harry Potter ones and the heart necklace totally calls to my dark heart!

Frankenstein Earrings // Frankenstein Necklace // Owl Post Necklace // Taming of the Shrew Pin // Potions Notepad

LiteraryGalaxy

LiteraryGalaxy has some beautiful bookmarks and jewellery. I think after Christmas I may have to treat myself!

Cruel Prince Bookmark // Harry Potter Bookmarks

Bookish Burns

I love a good candle and even better if they’re inspired by books! My favourite Bookish Candle place appears to have shut down so Bookish Burns is on my list to try, they look great!

Bookstagram Candle // Currently Reading Candle // Holidays at the Burrow Candle

OutNerdMe

With shipping costs these are just too expensive for me to justify buying but I really do love them! And yes they’re slightly more inspired by the TV / Film adaptations but they still count!

Sherlock Print // Snitch Print

Museum Context

Museum Context are an official Harry Potter Merch retailer with a bricks and mortar shop in Edinburgh and I’m pretty certain if I had it I could easily spend £1,000 in here without even blinking! It’s all gorgeous but not cheap!

Time Turner // Slytherin Scarf // Slytherin Quidditch Jumper // Hogwarts Express Print // Slytherin Pen

The Nobel Collection

The Nobel Collection are another retailer with a huge Harry Potter collection. Most impressive are the film prop replicas – I saw the Ravenclaw Diadem in Blackwells Edinburgh recently and almost drooled! Far too expensive for me to justify buying at the moment. Once that lottery win comes in though…

Bellatrix Mask // Dementors Crystal Ball // Fawkes Plush // Philosopher’s Stone // Platform 9 3/4 Sign // Ravenclaw Diadem

Bookishly

Bookishly have so many beautiful things that totally match my aesthetic! Their dust jacket editions are just absolutely beautiful and I love their prints and other items too

Marble Mug // Peter Pan // Bookmark // Sherlock Print // The Secret Garden

I also have a soft spot for Funko Pop and now Lego Brick Headz! But there are ten bookish merch shops that I often look enviously upon wishing I had endless amounts of spare cash to spend!

Do you have bookish merch shops that you just keep going back to? Is there any bookish merch you wish existed? I’d love to see some Dark Gifts merch out there! Let me know in the comments!

BookBestieUK is a shop I’ve been following for AGES now and I still haven’t bought anything.. Once finances allow it, I’ll be going on a spending trip though, haha. I really want some book sleeves that I picked myself instead of the ones I get in subscription boxes. [Those are the only monthly gift I get myself lately..]

Another shop I adore is A Bookish Flickering. Delicious teas and gorgeous looking candles! 😀

Here’s my TTT should you be interested. 🙂

I have a single book subscription box which is my monthly treat, although I’m tempted to get one of the Funko Pop subscriptions!

I’ll have to check out A Bookish Flickering!

      Thanks for visiting!

Oooh great pics!! I have the “I Love You” / “I Know” star wars prints from OutNerdMe hanging in my bedroom and I love them. That sucks that shipping is so expensive. I bought mine at a street fair in Oregon, which is where they are based out of, they had a booth set up and I had to limit myself to only buying the two

OMG OMG OMG Thank you for leaving your link on my blog because I came here and found the place to get those quote posters!!! I bought two when I was in Portland for Christmas last year, at a game shop, and wanted more (like the Han/Leia set!) but didn’t know where to get them!!! (I bought the Wonder Woman poster for me and the Jack Skellington one for my husband. I live in Maryland, so I can’t just go back to the same shop.) AAAAAHHHH. Me, scrolling down your post: “Oooo. Penguin books, awesome. Oh, wow, that Peter Pan stuff is cool looking. HOLY SHIT THE POSTERS. OMFG!” This is the best thing I’ve seen today. Fuck yes.
