Top Ten Tuesday – Halloween TBR

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday theme is a Halloween or Creepy freebie. I’ve completely gone off course and decided to take advantage of the fact it’s the end of the month and use the word Halloween to spell out my TBR for November – with one freebie as obviously Halloween only has nine letters.

I’ve ignored any articles such as A or The at the beginning of titles – and had to cheat on one of them!

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme currently hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

Halloween / Creepy Freebie

The Hate You Give by Angie Thomas

There was only one H book this could be. THUG has been sitting unread on my shelf for far too long so I’m pleased I’ll finally be getting to it in November.

Divider Blue

Ash Princess by Laura Sebastian

This sounds like quite a dark fantasy. This one hasn’t been sitting on my shelves for quite as long, I picked it up in Waterstones purely because of the cut out cover, I’m a sucker for a good looking book.

Divider Blue

The Loneliest Girl In The Universe by Lauren James

So many of my favourite people have raved about this book, and it’s science! I’m not sure why I’ve not picked it up before now but I’m looking forward to finally getting to it.

Divider Blue

Lethal White by Robert Galbraith

I love all the Strike books and I preordered this one. I started this the very same day but it’s a monster of a book so it’s not one I take out to read on my commute. In November I’m going to make a concerted effort to finish the book while I’m at home.

Divider Blue

You Only Live Once by Jess Vallance

This is the one I had to cheat on, the only book on my shelf that begins with an O is One Of Us Is Lying and I’ve already read that. This book looks like a lot of fun so I’m looking forward to it.

Divider Blue

Wing Jones by Katherine Webber

I’m a terribly bad bookworm for not having already read this. It’s another book that everyone has consistently told me how wonderful it is! So hopefully November will be the month I finally get to it.

Divider Blue

Eve Of Man by Giovanna and Tom Fletcher

This has such an interesting concept. I’ve not read any of Gi or Tom’s book so far but I’m intrigued to get see how their YA offering is.

Divider Blue

The Exact Opposite Of Okay by Laura Steven

I think this book covers some really important concepts in today’s society so I’m looking forward to seeing how the book deals with it.

Divider Blue

Nine by Zach Hines

Another book with a really interesting concept that I don’t think has received much hype in the UK. Humans have nine lives, and each live you live is an upgrade from the previous one. Considering the book deals with ‘burners’ people who deliberately die to move up to a later ‘better’ life I imagine it has a pretty fine line to walk regarding how suicides are dealt with in the book. I’m hoping it reads okay!

The Boneless Mercies by April Genevieve Tucholke

This one was on my to buy list which then appeared in October’s Wildest Dreams Book Box so a perfect reason to dive straight in next month!

That’s my TBR for November courtesy of the word Halloween. I was planning on reading them in this order but if there’s a book I need to bump up the list let me know in the comments! Also if you’re taking part in Top Ten Tuesday this week be sure to leave me a link to your post!

Ooh this is a fun idea for this freebie! I loved Wing Jones and TEOOO last year, and enjoyed You Only Live Once too. I didn’t really like The Loneliest Girl in the Universe, but I’m very much in the minority so I hope you enjoy it 😊. I’m definitely planning to read the Boneless Mercies at some point too!
