August Book Haul
It’s been a while since I did one of these, but I started a new job in July which meant a pay rise and I went a little bit book happy when I got my first new pay-cheque at the end of July!

I read Tilly and the Bookwanderers in August and loved it, and I’m excited to give YOLO a try soon! I really enjoyed Floored and Theatrical early in the summer, and I loved Goodbye, Perfect. Simon Vs is one of my favourite YAs ever. Royals is on my TBR still, and I’m planning to give Catwoman a go too. I think I bought 10 books in August; some of which were planned and others that were impulsive buys used to cheer me up/celebrate my exam results 😂

My plan is to buy a copy of Tilly and the Bookwanderers to give to my goddaughter but I want to give it a read first. Floored grew on me, it took me a little while to get into but I’m looking forward to Theatrical, I loved Unconventional!

Right – My heart says do it again this month. My head (and bank balance) says don’t do it!

I can empathise with that struggle.

You have bought some AMAZING books, Sarah! You honestly have such great reading ahead of you. Some of my faves are Goodbye, Perfect, Floored, The Loneliest Girl in the Universe and Theatrical. Some fab UKYA! I have a proof of Tilly & the Book Wanderers which I’ll be reading this week and I am SO excited! I hope we both enjoy it 🙂

I’m looking forward to it! I bought Floored right at the beginning of the month so I’ve already finished that one!
I’m really looking forward to Goodbye, Perfect as I’ve not read any of Sara’s books yet but the plot sounded so interesting! I loved Unconventional last year so Theatrical is particularly highly anticipated!
