This week my Six for Sunday is actually a Seven for Sunday as I’ve taken Steph’s Rainbow books prompt and picked out a rainbow’s worth of covers from my mountain of a TBR!

This one has been on my Kindle App since it was released. I really enjoy her Tempe Brennan books – the series the TV programme Bones was based on so I am intrigued to see what she does with a different central character.

The concept of this one really intrigues me so I really want to get round to picking it up soon!

I read an extract from this in the YA edition on Buzz Books and it really intrigued me so I’m really looking forward to getting to this!

This book, as well as the rest of the trilogy is raved about by a huge section of the YA community and I have a physical copy sitting on my bookcase, I just need to read it!

The Upside of Unrequited by Becky Albertalli

There’s only one problem: Molly’s coworker Reid. He’s an awkward Tolkien superfan with a season pass to the Ren Faire, and there’s absolutely no way Molly could fall for him. Right?

I’ve not read any of Becky’s books yet, I know a lot of people adore Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda, I was lucky enough to to granted Upside on NetGalley last year but time got away from me and I’ve not had chance to read it yet!

Cadaver & Queen by Alisa Kwitney

When Lizzie Lavenza enrolled at Ingold as its first female medical student, she knew she wouldn’t have an easy time. From class demands to being an outsider among her male cohorts, she’ll have to go above and beyond to prove herself. Only this Bio-mechanical isn’t like the others. Where they are usually empty-minded and perfectly obedient, this one seems to have thoughts, feelings…and self-awareness.

This just sounds incredibly interesting so it’s definitely in my plans to read this month!

The Brink of Darkness by Jeff Giles

I really enjoyed the first book in this series, The Edge of Everything, when I read it last year, so I’m really looking forward to this sequel which is due for release next month!
