Another week done, I must admit I struggled with work this week, my sleeping pattern still isn’t right after my time off and I was exhausted and feeling a little ill by the time it got to Friday night, so I sent myself to bed when I got in a little after five, and didn’t surface until a little after lunchtime on Saturday.
I’ve got a short week coming up as I’ve Friday off for a day’s study leave, I can’t say I’m looking forward to it as I have an exam the following Monday but it’s a day I’m not in work so I’m considering that a positive!

Books I’ve Read This Week
I found Undercover Princess to be okay, not brilliant but not bad either. I really enjoyed The Burning, although I feel the style of it gave the ending away a little earlier than I would have wanted… I was pleased to get back to the beginning of Maeve’s journey though after starting with the most recent book in the series last year.
On The Blog This Week
Monday: I took part in the blog tour for The Missing Girl by Jenny Quintana
Tuesday: I shared a teaser from The Missing Girl and shared ten books from 2017 I didn’t manage to read as part of Top Ten Tuesday
Wednesday: You were all treated to my week in reading when I took part in WWW Wednesday
Saturday: I shared my review of Nemesis by Brendan Reichs, and posted my first discussion post of the year, talking about two books that had an intriguing premise.
Sunday: I shared 6 books I didn’t enjoy that much last year as part of Six for Sunday

I remember liking The Burning but never continued the series and I really need too. 🙂
Have a great day and happy reading!

It’s definitely a solid start to the series, I enjoyed Let The Dead Speak more, but I guess that’s just because the series is more established these days. I’m keen to fill in the gap though!
