Six For Sunday – Books I Missed!

Six for Sunday is a weekly meme hosted by the lovely Steph at ALITTLEBUTALOT. You can find a list of the 2018 prompts here

2017 Releases I Didn’t Read

Wing Jones by Katherine Webber – I kept meaning to pick a copy of this up all throughout 2017, everyone was recommending it and the sprayed edges were so pretty but I never got round to it.

A Quiet Kind Of Thunder by Sara Barnard – Another one that has been recommended to me SO many times and still hasn’t yet found a place on my shelves

The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas – I actually own this one! But it’s been sitting on my shelf for a while untouched… Must do better

When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon – This is another one that I’ve seen a lot of people rave about, I even have an eARC via Netgalley but I just never got round to reading it.

Editing Emma by Chloe Seager – I won a copy of this in a #SundayYA giveaway, I’ve heard really good things but again I’ve just not got around to picking it up

La Belle Sauvage by Phillip Pullman – This is my biggest shame, I was so so excited by this book, I preordered the special edition months in advance and I did start it but because I don’t take it out of the house other things on my iPad kept grabbing my attention on my commute and I ended up finishing those instead.

I know there are some hugely popular books on this list, and I could have easily doubled this list and then added some more! My plan for 2018 is to request fewer ARCs, and work on reading some of my backlist and the books I actually bought for myself.
