Look at that date ^^^ it’s September! I’m really not sure I’m on board with how fast this year is going by – There’s now less than a month to go until I leave my 20s behind and I don’t really know how I’m feeling about it. I know 30 really isn’t old, but when I was little I thought it was ancient and by the time I hit 30 I’d have done all the ‘grown up’ stuff, have my own house, be married and have kids, and I’ve done exactly none of these! That said I am happy with where I am, and I wouldn’t change anything, but still at the back of my head I’m beginning to think if I do want to have children at some point I’m starting to run out of time to meet someone and settle down!
On to happier topics, just this week at work to go and then I have a week off! I’m heading up north (well slightly north of the central belt) to go and stay with a friend and help out a bit with school runs and the dog while her husband is away for work. I’ll have the middle of the days to myself though so I’m haping to get a lot of reading and blogging done, and just relax for a bit it’s been manic at work, I felt broken when I got in on Friday night I was so tired, and I imagine this week leading up to my time off will be just as bad!
I was almost organised last weekend so it was a bit of a busier week on the blog!
