The Sunday Post – 06/08/17

I’m not quite sure how it got to be after 8 O’clock already, I’ve been listening to The Silkworm audiobook most of the day and completely lost track of time, I even missed SundayYA!

This week, as all the others this year, has flown by, every day at work I seemed to manage to inherit something else to buy from one of my colleagues, I don’t mind that much, I’m not taking any annual leave in August so I have a little more time than some of the others to get things done. In other work related news this week I found out I passed the CIPS exam I sat back in May, I was genuinely concerned I might have actually failed it, it was one of those exams when none of the topics you want to come up actually came up, fortunately I did pass, I even managed to scrape a Merit so happy with that!

Coming up for me this week includes a work meeting down in Dumfries, it’s a bit of a trek and means that on Wednesday I need to be at the office for 7am, not really a morning person but needs must, and I’m just thinking of the flexitime I’ll gain!

This weekend has been wonderful and totally lazy, full of books! I was meant to be typing up some of my written reviews, instead I was approved for the new Carol Wyer book on NetGalley and spend Saturday reading that!

Thank you! You’d think having survived university waiting on a result that really has no impact on my life, apart from potentially having to find £120 to resit would be a breeze. Still get so nervous!
