The Sunday Post – 09/07/17

Good afternoon!

I hope everyone has had a wonderful week! This week in the book blogging community something wonderful happened, Britt started a blog hop on twitter.

Since then my notifications have been going absolutely crazy and over 200 twitter handles and blogs were shared. The incredible Holly compiled a blog post with everyone’s details that you can find here

Work is still proving interesting which is great, although I have an exam coming up in a couple of weeks that I feel I’ve done nowhere near enough preparation for but ah well, we’ll see how it goes! On Friday I went clay pigeon shooting with my old team, I managed to hit a few clays but suffice to say the shooters on Team GB have no need to fear for their Tokyo 2020 places! We then went for dinner at a restaurant that really isn’t that far from me but I’d never been to before and it was so good! I’ll definitely be heading back again at some point!

In other news I posted on my book for the Round-Robin and I’m looking forward to the first book landing on my doormat and discovering what someone else has chosen to share.

On The Blog This Week

On Monday I took part in This or That

On Tuesday I shared a teaser from Liar. A stand-alone novel from K.L. Slater

On Wednesday I took part in WWW Wednesday.

On Thursday I reviewed The Missing Ones, the first book in the DI Lottie Parker series by Patricia Gibney

On Sunday I asked people how they felt about audiobooks

That was my week, I hope your’s was great and this one coming will be too!

Tweetdeck is one of the tabs that opens automatically whenever I load Chrome. I try and take part in a YA twitter chat most weeks if I can too

I can’t take any credit for the original post – I just took part and was carried along with it!

As for the tweet if you’re on the main website all the tweets have a little downward arrow click that and there’s an option to embed tweet, select that and you’ll get some HTML code you can copy into your post.

Awesome about the twitter hop. I suck at twitter! I just never know how to really get the most out of it, what hashtags to search, etc. So when I log in, its just an overwhelming stream of stuff that I get overwhelmed with!
Good luck on your exam! Have a great week!
