Evening! Here’s a look back at what I’ve been reading! As normal I’m linking up with the weekly meme hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words.
What are you currently reading?
I’ve literally just finished a book so currently there are 2 books on my Goodreads CR shelf.
Dream Job by Janet Garber
This one is still here, and I’ve still not made any further progress on it since last week but I still can’t bring myself to move it off my CR list….
The Irregular by H.B. Lyle
No further progress on this one either, but I’m determined not to completely give up on it. I’ll pick it up again later in the month
What did you recently finish reading?
My Bookouture month has started with a band! This week my reading has definitely picked up! I finished The Stolen Girls by Patricia Gibney. It was the second book in the DI Lottie Parker series and much like the first it was excellent! Expect to see a review soon!
I also read Liar by K.L Slater, again it’s the second book I’ve read by Kim but these have both been stand alone novels, but neither have been disappointments! Again expect a review in the coming month.
And today I finished Ten Birthdays by Kerry Wilkinson. It was a lovely quick read, I only started it last night, but I really loved the concept and there were definitely some wise words that resonated with me. This one will be reviewed soon too!
What do you think you’ll read next?
I’ll be carrying on with my Bookouture month, I’ve not quite decided which of the books on my TBR to pick up next, so many choices! I think it will be The Girls in the Water by Victoria Jenkins or Two Sisters by Kerry Wilkinson!
I’m also giving my Round Robin book a quick re-read before sending it on, but I’m not telling you that one, it would spoil the surprise!

Ten Birthdays sound like an interesting book and I am looking forward to your review! I am curious, what is Bookoutre month?
I am between books right now. Just finished All the Bright Places and haven’t decided what to read next (so many books, so less time!)

Bookouture are a publishing house. I’m focusing my reading around their authors for the month 🙂

I haven’t read any of these! I’m currently reading ACOWAR and have been for 2 weeks. I think I’m going to take a break and read something a little shorter or happier like The Upside of Unrequited or another contemporary haha

K.L. Slater and Patricia Gibney are two of my favorite Bookouture authors! (Although I love most thrillers they publish in the first place 😉 ). Two Sisters was an interesting read and I have The Girls In The Water coming up as well. Happy reading and enjoy your books this week!

Thanks! I’m not letting myself read any more until I’ve caught up on my reviews, so I’ve typed up a few this weekend! Looking forward to getting back to reading!
