Hello! It’s Wednesday! Not only is it Wednesday, it’s a Wednesday in a four day week, only one more day in the office and then the lovely long Easter weekend.
Time for my weekly reading update as part in the weekly meme hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words.
What are you currently reading?
I’ve just started The State of Grace. I feel terrible as this has been sitting as my CR on Goodreads since the 6th April but I only actually loaded the book on my iPad last night. I’ve heard such great things about it so I’m not sure why I’ve been putting it off, other than I was getting distracted by TV – Like watching the final ever episode of Bones – I still can’t believe it’s over!
Sometimes I feel like everyone else was handed a copy of the rules for life and mine got lost.
Grace has Asperger’s and her own way of looking at the world. She’s got a horse and a best friend who understand her, and that’s pretty much all she needs. But when Grace kisses Gabe and things start to change at home, the world doesn’t make much sense to her any more.
Suddenly everything threatens to fall apart, and it’s up to Grace to fix it on her own.
Whip-smart, hilarious and unapologetically honest, The State of Grace by Rachael Lucas is a heart-warming story of one girl trying to work out where she fits in, and whether she even wants to.
What did you recently finish reading?
Only He Said / She Said by Erin Kelly. I say only in that it was an only book I read, definitely not a slight on the book which took a little while to get going but was fantastic in the end. Expect a review at the end of the month.
What do you think you’ll read next?
There’s a list! So over the long weekend the SundayYA chat is hosting the SundayYAthon, and so I have a TBR lined up. I did stuff with my friends at the beginning of the month and my mum isn’t visiting until the week after Easter which means I will have 4 days of being able to read without worrying about work or family obligations. You can find my TBR on my Goodreads Shelf
Let me know what you’re reading in the comments!

I will! Off to the supermarket after work tomorrow and then I won’t even have to leave the house if I don’t want to. I do enjoy being able to be antisocial from time to time lol!
