So I’m writing this way in advance this week. It’s currently only Wednesday night but I’m going to be staying with a friend between Thursday and Tuesday and I’m not taking my laptop with me, I’ll have my iPad so I’ll be updating links on Sunday before this actually posts, but it’s getting old so it doesn’t handle the WordPress app as well as I’d like. As usual I’m connecting up with The Sunday Post over at Caffinated Book Reviewer.

So when this posts it will be April, a quarter of the way through 2017 already! I’ve had a good week, I’ve been on annual leave so no 6am alarm, it’s be wonderful waking up naturally and not worrying about having to get straight out of bed to get ready for work. I’ve enjoyed some great books, caught up on writing up some reviews and finished some other posts that I’ve scheduled in for the coming weeks. WordPress also opened up all their Premium themes to people on a premium plan which I am so I have had great fun in picking out one of the new grid based themes, and doing some new graphics to take advantage of the way the theme shows off featured images. I hope you like the look of it! It’s still a bit of a work in progress, I need to update some tags and things for the menus but I’m really happy with the progress so far.

*Sunday morning update* I got to my friend’s mid morning on Thursday and that evening we met up with another friend for dinner and drinks. On Friday I went to watch my goddaughter in her class assembly, she was so good and one of the few children that didn’t need to take her card with her lines on up to the microphone, she remembered them all. It was her last day of term before the Easter holidays so when she finished that afternoon we took her out for dinner and then went to watch Beauty & the Beast, we all loved it, and it was the first movie she had actually watched in 3D so it was hilarious watching her try to bat ribbons and things out of her face.  Saturday we all met up for dinner, a few more drinks, and board games in aid of the NSPCC’s Big Board Game Day 2017. The weather is actually pretty good at the moment so we’re about to get ready and head out for a walk to the park. Hope everyone else has a great Sunday!
