Tuesday’s Teaser – Sirens

Teaser Tuesday is a book meme I found via Google I believe it was originally hosted on Should Be Reading but I don’t think it’s still active. Still I liked the idea so I’m going to keep it going on my blog.

The rules are simple:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share one or two sentences from that page
• Avoid spoilers – Pick a sentence that doesn’t give too much away

My first Teaser Tuesday read is Sirens by Joseph Knox.

“He lifted one side of his drinks basket and threw it violently upwards. Everything hit me at once. I was drenched in broken glass, backwash and beer, and saw blood running from somewhere as it drained through my legs.”
